Les essentiels conscients du quotidien

MAKE TIME FOR THE GOOD STUFF.

October doesn’t exactly change quietly. The light shifts, the air gets cooler, colour is suddenly everywhere and staying home starts sounding like a very good idea.

Maybe the season is onto something.

As the days get shorter, time starts to feel a little more valuable. So perhaps we can be pickier about what gets it. Make something. Call someone. Take the long way home. Light a candle just because.

The things we enjoy shouldn’t always have to wait until everything else is done.

The good stuff deserves more than your leftover time.

OCTOBER CHANGES WHAT WE REACH FOR.

The candle gets lit earlier. The notebook moves from desk to sofa. Something to make suddenly sounds better than something else to watch. And the things that make home warmer, brighter and more interesting earn their place.

Things we’re reaching for this October.

OCTOBER IS SHOWING OFF.

Leaves. Patterns. Unexpected colour. And some amazing mushrooms. Nature was never much of a minimalist.

Before it all ends up on the pavement, go and have a look.

YOUR HOME HAS
SEASONS TOO.

Your wardrobe isn’t the only thing that changes with the season. As the windows close and the evenings move indoors, what smells good changes too.

HOW TO HOST A CRAFT NIGHT

Like drinks with friends, only your hands are busy too.

Pick something easy to make, put a few snacks on the table, add a good playlist and invite people who won’t mind if their crochet aubergine turns out looking more like a potato.

No craft credentials required.
